Gilgit-Baltistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan
Central Karakoram National Park is located in Skardu district of Gilgit Baltistan. It has some of the worlds highest peaks and largest glaciers. The park covers an area of 10,000 sq km and has the greatest concentration of high mountains on earth. It has the well known 'Savage Mountain' K2 at 8611m. It has four peaks in total over 8000m and sixty peaks higher than 7000ms.
It is a dream for mountaineering, rock climbing and trekking for adventure lovers.
